*Original Canon brand cartridges contain dye-based inks.  Repeat-O-Type's dye-based inks are formulated to be 100% compatible with the Canon original inks.  Dye-based inks, however, have poor resistance to both water and ultravoilet light.  In other words, they smear when wet and fade over time.   It is for these reasons that we have developed our own pigment-based inks.   With these new inks, you can create photos and graphics which can be displayed for extended periods in various environments.  Used with T-Shirt transfer paper, these inks allow for greatly increased durability and repeated washings.  It should be noted, however, that color pigment-based inks are less brilliant than color dye-based inks and require adjustment of the software drivers to optimize the color balance and intensity.  NOTE: Repeat-O-Type does not recommend using both dye and pigment cartridges simultaneously in the same printer.

Printhead Cleaning Kit for Canon BJC-600/610/620 and Apple Color Stylewriter/Pro

Our experience has shown that the printheads used in these printers are prone to clogging unless used frequently. Many users print in black only, leaving the cyan, magenta, and yellow print nozzles unused for extended periods. While under warranty, the printer manufacturer will usually replace a clogged printhead at no charge. Once the warranty has expired, however, the cost of replacement printhead is in excess of $200. Repeat-O-Type's Cleaning Kit, at $12.95, can usually bring a clogged printhead back to full performance.

The kit contains sufficient Prewash and Penetrating Solutions to clean four Canon BJC-600 series printheads clogged with dried ink. Also included are a tray and complete instructions. Note: This product will not repair printheads with damaged electrical circuitry.
