Dateline --Wayne, NJ, April 24, 1997 -- REPEAT-O-TYPE MANUFACTURING CORPORATION announced today that it has released three new products to augment its line of Refill Ink Systems, which already provides solutions for refilling most of the popular inkjet cartridges made by Canon Computer Corp., Seiko Epson Corp., Hewlett-Packard Co., and Apple Computer Corp.
For the Canon BC-05 cartridge, Repeat-O-Type offers its BC-05RC Refill Ink System. This cartridge, which is used in Canon's BJC-210 and BJC-240 Color BubbleJet printers, is comprised of three separate chambers containing cyan, magenta, and yellow inks. Repeat-O-Type's product contains three corresponding ink dispensers each containing fifteen milliliters of ink, enough to refill each chamber three times. With a suggested retail price of $41.95, this product offers a 60% savings over buying three Canon brand cartridges.
A similarly configured product, Repeat-O-Type's LX19RC Refill Ink System, has been designed for refilling Lexmark International, Inc.'s 1380619 cartridge. This cartridge is used in Lexmark's Color Jetprinter 1020, 2030, and 2050, ExecJet IIc, Medley, and Winwriter 150c printers. This product's $54.95 suggested retail price represents a 53% savings over buying three Lexmark brand cartridges.
Both of these systems deliver additional savings because original brand cartridges would otherwise be thrown away as soon as one of the three ink chambers became depleted, thereby wasting ink.
A third new Repeat-O-Type product refills the Lexmark 1380620 black ink cartridge, which in addition to the Lexmark models listed above, is also used in the Lexmark ExecJet 4076. Repeat-O-Type's LX20RBK Refill Ink System yields two refills, offering a 54% savings with its suggested retail price of $29.95.
As with all of the products in the Repeat-O-Type Refill Ink Systems line, these products are covered under Repeat-O-Type's comprehensive warranty, which covers printer damage attributable to Repeat-O-Type's products as well as quality and workmanship of the products themselves.
