Epson Compatible Refill Ink Systems Released by REPEAT-O-TYPE
Dateline -- Wayne, NJ, July 16, 1997 -- REPEAT-O-TYPE MANUFACTURING CORPORATION announced the release of Refill Ink Systems for extending the life of the cartridges used in Epson's latest Stylus Color printers.
Two configurations are available, #ESC8RBK for refilling Epson's S020093 and S020108 black cartridges and #ESC8RC for refilling Epson's S020089 tri-color cartridge. The #ESC8RBK black refill carries a $34.95 suggested retail price and contains enough ink to refill the S020093 cartridge five times and the S020108 cartridge three times. The #ESC8RC tri-color refill sells for $35.95 and contains enough cyan, magenta and yellow inks to refill each of the color chambers of the S020089 cartridge three times. The Repeat-O-Type inks have been tested on a wide range of papers and have been found to match the Epson brand inks in both color and performance.
Both products are used in the following Epson Stylus Color models: 400/600/800/1520. In addition, #ESC8RBK is used in the Epson Stylus Color 500 and Photo models as well.
The Refill Ink Systems offer users cost savings of 60% or more when compared to the prices of Epson brand cartridges. Additional yield is gained from the tri-color cartridge because it does not have to be disposed of with two colors of ink not yet depleted.
These products are protected under Repeat-O-Type's comprehensive warranty, which covers printer damage attributable to Repeat-O-Type's inks as well as quality and workmanship of the products themselves.
